The game

Is Oil Voyage real oil trading?

No. Oil Voyage is a game. No real oil is bought, sold or shipped. The game uses real daily oil prices to calculate the result of a voyage. See What is Oil Voyage.

Is it free to start?

Yes. A new account gets a welcome bonus of 1 🛢️ and, while the game offers it, one free voyage: a share of 1 🛢️ paid by the game. The welcome bonus is for playing: it cannot be withdrawn, but what you earn with it can. See Quick start.

How does a voyage pay?

When the voyage settles, you get your share back, plus the daily rate of the route for every day at sea, plus the move of the destination's oil benchmark between the departure day and the arrival day. See The payout.

Do longer routes pay more?

Yes, for each day at sea. The shortest routes pay 1% a day. The daily rate grows with the route length and reaches 1.6% a day on routes of 40 days or more. A voyage keeps the rate it had at its first share. See The base yield.

Can I lose?

Yes. If the price falls, the market move is negative. A share never pays back less than 90% of what you put in, so one voyage can lose at most 10% of the share. Over many voyages, losses can add up. See The payout.

When do I get my payout?

After the tanker arrives, it unloads for 6 hours, and then the payout goes to your balance by itself. If the port is busy, the tanker waits in a queue first: arrival to payout takes at most 18 hours, as long as the day's price fix exists. A tanker that arrives on a weekend waits until Monday. Why does my tanker say "Awaiting fix"?

The payout needs the daily fixes of the departure day and the arrival day, and one of them is not recorded yet. The voyage is paid as soon as the fix arrives. Waiting does not change the price used or the base rate. See Prices and daily fixes.

Can I cancel a share?

Yes, while the tanker is still loading. The game keeps a fee of 20% and returns the rest at once. After the tanker sails, you cannot cancel. The free share cannot be cancelled. See Cancelling a share.

Can I change my flag?

Yes, at any time and for free: Profile → Flag. Shares you already bought sail on and pay out as usual. New shares go only on tankers of your current flag. See Flags and countries.

Where do the prices come from?

From real oil benchmarks. Once a day the game records a daily fix for each one. Voyages are paid on these daily fixes. The moving "live" line on the map is decoration and never changes a payout. See Prices and daily fixes.

Why are some flags and tankers locked?

They open with the world level, which rises as more captains join. A new level opens for everyone at once. See World progress.

Money

How do I top up?

Open Profile → Deposit, choose a network and an asset, and send crypto to the address shown. Deposits are taken now on TRON, Solana, TON, Ethereum, and BNB Smart Chain. 1 USDT gives 1 🛢️; other coins are converted at their market price. The game takes no deposit fee. See Deposits.

Can I withdraw wBarrel?

Only while wBarrel withdrawals are open. Then Profile shows a Withdraw button. While they are closed, there is no such button. See Withdrawals.

Do I need two-factor protection?

No, it is optional, but we recommend it. While it is on, every withdrawal is confirmed with a code from an authenticator app. This protects your balance even if someone gets into your Telegram account. While it is off, no code is asked. Depositing never needs a code. See Security.

How long does a withdrawal take?

There is no fixed time. An operator reviews every request by hand. The bot messages you each time the status changes. New requests are not accepted on weekends (UTC). See Withdrawals.

What are wDOGE and DOGE?

wDOGE is the second in-game currency, paid by tasks. You exchange it into whole DOGE (Dogecoin) on the wDOGE → DOGE screen: 1 DOGE = 1,000,000 wDOGE. DOGE can then be withdrawn to your own wallet on the regular withdrawal page: choose BNB Smart Chain and DOGE. It is paid in whole coins, at least 100 DOGE. See wDOGE and DOGE.

What is staking?

You lock wBarrel and get a fixed rate of 10% a month, credited every day. The stake stays locked for 90 days from your last top-up. Taking it out then takes 14 days. See Staking.

Can I send wBarrel to a friend?

No. wBarrel cannot be transferred between players. See wBarrel.

Rewards

How does the daily streak work?

Claim a reward in wBarrel on the Tasks tab once every UTC day. The reward grows over the days of the ladder, from 0.05 🛢️ up to 0.15 🛢️. If you miss a day, you start again from day 1. Opening the app is not enough: you have to tap Claim. See Daily streak.

Are task rewards paid by themselves?

No. When you reach a goal, tap Claim on the task card. Reached rewards never expire. See Tasks.

What do I get for inviting friends?

You get 10% of every deposit a friend you invited makes, and 10% on top of every wDOGE task reward they claim. The game pays this; your friend's own money is not reduced. See Referrals.

Why does my friend not count?

A friend counts only after they finish the registration in the Mini App. They must also open the game through your link the very first time: a friend who already started the game without it cannot be attached later. The numbers on Rewards update when you open the app again. See Referrals.

Account

Can I play on two phones?

Yes. Your game account belongs to your Telegram account. On every phone or computer where you use the same Telegram account, you see the same game.

Can I have two accounts?

No. The rule is one person, one account. Extra accounts can lead to suspension and lost rewards. See Fair play.

How do I change the language?

Profile → Language. The game and the bot's messages both follow your choice. See Profile.

Can I hide my Telegram name?

Yes. In Profile, tap the pencil to set a nickname and an avatar: other captains see those instead. On the leaderboards you can also turn on Hide me on leaderboards. See Profile.
